By: Carrie Wheeler, Chief Operations Officer, Liquid Web Over the past year, Liquid Web has been hard at work laying the foundation for our strategy of being the leader in Managed Hosting for the mission-critical websites and applications of Small and Midsize businesses. This morning, we reached another key milestone as we announced the acquisition of WiredTree, a Chicago-based web hosting company. Liquid Web is welcoming these new customers who will gain an even stronger web hosting offering, including upgraded services and a team of dedicated migration specialists to assist each user with a seamless and hassle-free transition. This announcement follows our purchase of Rackspace’s Cloud Sites business unit in August, where we were thrilled to add Cloud Sites, an all-in-one technology platform to our Managed Hosting portfolio. The Cloud Sites product significantly augments Liquid Web's already premium portfolio, and adds capabilities to further simplify web hosting and cloud services … strategically aligning us to better serve professionals whose businesses rely on the web - and thus rely on us as their hosting provider. As the leader of our Heroic Support organization, I’m passionate about customer service and providing the best technical support in the industry. That’s why our No. 1 priority has been on making this a seamless transition for everyone involved, most importantly our new customers. We’ve been working behind the scenes to upgrade our network, build-out infrastructure, building specialized teams to support these transitions, and planning customer communications. WiredTree customers will be upgraded to a new environment, guaranteeing new hardware and enjoying a “double-protection” DDoS security architecture. And all at their current pricing levels. There is no price change. You can be assured that we have kept our customers and their businesses at the forefront of our measured approach to the transition. For Liquid Web, it will always be about you. Our ambition is to be the most loved hosting provider in the industry. Every thing we do is about being that partner you can trust. Our nearly 600 Liquid Web employees are excited for our new customers to become a part of Liquid Web. Thank you for trusting Liquid Web with the success of your business. We are proud to have you as a Liquid Web customer and look forward to being your partner in hosting.
